We strive to put an end to physical child abuse.

The effects of child physical abuse can last a lifetime. In some children, these impacts can include brain damage, vision loss, hearing loss, and even result in severe disability. In less severe cases, child physical abuse can lead to behavioral, emotional, or learning issues. If the child sustains injuries to their growing brain, the abuse can result in severe emotional issues and cognitive delays that can affect the child’s quality of life permanently.

Child Physical Abuse

At The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center, we want to put an end to the devastating, long-term effects of child physical abuse on children in our community. We run a children’s advocacy center where children can receive all the required care and treatment they need during an ongoing investigation all under one roof. As a singular point of access, we reduce the trauma and inconvenience of going from place to place to receive services following allegations of child physical abuse.

We provide our services completely free of charge to children and their families. This is all made possible by donations from our generous donors and support from our network of volunteers. Monetary and time donations are always appreciated and can make a real difference in the lives of the children we help.

No child should have to deal with the effects of physical abuse alone. Contact us today to find out how you can support our mission and help the children we serve recover from the life-altering effects of abuse.
